From the Mercury News:Residents in West San Jose neighborhoods have wanted more police services and community programs for years. The city announced last week that it's planning to give them both -- and under one roof.The city council voted May 4 to buy an empty 9,600-square-foot, two-story office building at 3707 Williams Road to create the first communitypolicing/community recreation center.
