Outgoing Letter from your Past President

Aug 17, 2003

Friends and Neighbors, I would like to take a few minutes to express my thanks to the many wonderful inspirations and role models that I have enjoyed during my two years serving as your President. I had very large shoes to fill with the departure of Patrick Coulson, a very close friend and next door neighbor that did such a wonderful job with the City of Denver to complete the wonderful renovations of the park just in time for the picnic of 2002. Both Susan Casey, and Charlie Brown were great supporters of our community; Susan at building links with other neighborhoods, and Charlie at working so hard to resolve specific issues, both from individuals and for the community as a whole. I wanted to thank my fellow board members?—Barb Drews for such a great job with Finance, and food arrangements for our Annual Picnic, Dave Bell for his work at the Picnics with the children?’s activities and event support, Greg and Jeannie Spahn for their support of board activities in the past. Vice-president Kirk Anderson has been a tireless contributor to the community for many years, and was a great support to all of our Board?—I wish him all the best in his tenure as President for the next two years. Finally, I thank all of my Bonnie Brae friends and neighbors for making this such a wonderful community to live and work in?– let?’s all strive to keep it that way!
