Bomber Heights Neighborhood Association

The most pressing need for our neighborhood is that of a COP(Citizens on Patrol) program. This program would make our neighborhood a much safer place and give us direct communication with the Fort Worth Police Department. After an 8 hour training sesssion, one would only have to voulunteer two hours of their time a month. I think you will find that once you start, you willl want to do more. So, therefore, I am asking residents to step up to the plate. I neeed at least 20 people who are interested in joining COP to start this initiative. Citizens On Patrol is growing

Our group started with 5 patrollers. As of today we have 5 more that have taken the class and are in the process of their ride-ins with police officers to complete their training. There have been some things we have called in while on patrol that the NPO's checked out for us. We have also called in graffiti that the City has done a great job in response of cleaning up. Our neighborhood is a little bit more safer than it was now that we have people patrolling and calling in suspisous activity.
