Boise Neighborhood Association

Interstate Rezoning

Posted in: Humboldt
Hi there,
I know that the Interstate rezoning plan is considered an Overlook Neighborhood Association issue, but is it something that this neighborhood should be involved in as far as discussions go, and keeping up on what is happening? I'm asking mainly because, aside from being so close to Interstate, I notice that meetings are only every few months, and I don't know how quickly things are moving.

This is the main site for looking at the plans so far.

Beyond Overlook, that is primarily a project of the Interstate Corridor Urban Renewal Advisory Committee (ICURAC); the HNA does sent a representative to those meetings. Yes, it is a very slow process. Do you have any thoughts or opinions you'd like to share with the Humboldt Board? Obviously, it's complicated, and predicting the effects of any changes feels like an exercise in crystal-ball gazing; we'd welcome your input.
