Hello,
On a recent visit to Alberta Park playgound with my 6 month old daughter and 1 year old nephew, we encountered blatant and out in the open drug dealing and drug users using the public toilets as a place to peddle and use drugs. On a separate occasion recently, I have seen more discreet drug hand-offs taking place with dealers and buyers in Alberta Park on Bike. Has anyone else seen this going on? What can we do about stepping up Police Patrol of our beloved park so that it doesn't become a sketchy/seedy place to bring our dogs and kids?

call police non-emergency whenever you see something like this going on...503-823-3333. i have the number saved in my cell and i do NOT hesitate to use it. the police have been great about responding. we live on 22nd right across the street from the park, and yes, we see stuff like this happen fairly often and obviously, especially in the winter months. i think the police know me pretty well by now and they say they encourage phone calls to report this stuff.
