The new owners of this property
cut down 7 Beautiful old growth douglas fur trees with we were told, no permits
11236 NE OREGON ST - HAZELWOOD - PORTLAND
When neighbors asked if they had a permit they said they had one but would not produce it.Another neighbor said that the city confirmed NO Permit for this. Is this True??? How did it happen? I am told a invester is tearing the house down to build a Apt building or Row Houses.I am also told there will be a community meeting re: this issue. If you live in this Neighborhood please attend the meeting. This Beautiful Neighborhood needs to stay this way. I am truelly Sad that those 7 Trees were sacraficed for the all mighty Dollar. I will update this post with the time/Place of the community meeting. Lets all get involved and Keep Hazelwwod a Great Family & not too over populated and Barin with No Tree's.

I emailed the city they have not
gotten back to me yet about all the work going on with out permits including the stump grinding.

There is alot of noise late into the evening to. I want to know how you can go into a single family dwelling neighborhood and build apartments like they are saying they are planning to do.
