Attention Concerned Residents of New Orleans East. Please Sign Petition to Reopen Methodist Hospital. I believe that we cannot afford to wait another 3-5 years for a brand new hospital, when there's already one there and the money is there for damages(minimal.) Listed below is link to petition. We have already waited 5 years with no hospital with emergency services. 9-5 Clinics are not sufficient and God help us if an emergency arises after 5pm or on the weekend. I believe we really do matter. I am working on contacting Mayor Mitchell Landrieu and our area's representative(s) to assist us in this urgent matter. Thank you for your time. We really do matter.
