NOTICE TO ALL CRIMINALS IN BASTROP COUNTY - - - -
CRIME STOPPERS IS HERE!

BLUEBONNET AREA CRIME STOPPERS HAS ARRIVED IN BASTROP
COUNTY
The Bluebonnet Area Crime Stoppers program has arrived in Bastrop County! Prior to this,
our County has relied on Texas Crime Stoppers, or Austin/Travis County Crime Stoppers.
This effort was brought into focus by Sheriff Rosanna Abreo earlier this year. The program
works and is a much needed tool for our area crime fighters. Bluebonnet Area Crime Stoppers
began in Burleson County and has grown to Lee County and now Bastrop County. Their
program has been very successful and has won several awards over the last eight years.
On Tuesday, March 11, 2008, representatives of Bluebonnet Area Crime Stoppers made a
presentation at the Bastrop County Law Enforcement Center. There were several
representatives of area law enforcement, including County Judge Ronnie McDonald in
attendance. Everyone agreed to support and adopt this program. Bastrop County has a new
crime fighting tool - Bluebonnet Area Crime Stoppers!
If you wish to contact Bluebonnet Area Crime Stoppers to give a tip on a crime, or a criminal,
please call, toll-free, 1-866-930-TIPS (8477). Just like other programs, you do not have to give
your name; you will be given a special coded number. If the information leads to an arrest of a
wanted person, you will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00. If you wish to contact
Bluebonnet Area Crime Stoppers to pledge your support in the form of a cash donation, please
contact Mr. Dean Foley, Chairman at 979-535-8168 or Pat Brown, Coordinator, at 979-567-
4343. Bluebonnet Area Crime Stoppers is a 501.3c tax exempt organization. Signs & posters
are available for individuals and business owners. Upon request, your personal logo can be
included on these signs & posters.
Any questions or comments on this Crime Stopper program, please contact Mr. Dean Foley or
any of our Bastrop County area law enforcement agency.
