This is a wonderful opportunity to share food and fun while getting to know one another.
Just bring a dish to share, your own drinks/plates/eating utensils, and-if you want-labelled sports equipment/frisbees for pick-up games.
Besides the great food, you can enjoy
~informational booths by Tucson Clean and Beautiful, BENCA (Blenman-Elm Neighbors Care Association), and our neighborhood businesses,
~networking activities organized by block,
~a multigenerational creation station,
~live music provided by neighborhood members,
~on-going games and sports for children and adults
Invited guests include all neighbors, City Council Member Nina Trasoff, the Blenman Elm School Principal, and our Blenman-Elm City of Tucson Police Officer, among others.
Let us know if you'd like to participate in the pre-event activities, too...like a children’s decoration party, creation and placement of signage, approaching neighborhood businesses for participation, and/or attending the on-going planning meetings. Just contact allison@reststop.net and put B-E Potluck in the subject line.
Our intent is for the activities leading up to the event, as well as the event itself, to strengthen relationships within our neighborhood, including businesses, organizations, government, institutions, and neighbors.
We look forward to meeting you!
