My husband and I moved into the neighborhood about a year and a half ago. At the time we were told by Westerville that we don't pay our local taxes to them and Columbus told us the same thing. I haven't been able to find any information on local income tax for Blendon Twp and don't want to get a letter in a few years telling me that we owe $x plus interest.

Westerville and Columbus are correct - Blendon Township residents do not owe income taxes to either city unless you work in these cities. as a resident of Blendon Township you do not owe income tax here either, Blendon Township residents who own properties owe property tax that cover part of the township expenses. for a better explanation and/or township income and expenses please do not hesitate to attend a township trustee meeting or call the administration office.
