Birdcage Heights Neighborhood Association

 The Red, White & Blue Parade is coming up.  It is scheduled for June 25th and will start and end, right here in Area 11!  We don't have very much money left, but I'm sure we can come up with something.  One idea is to have Area 11 dog owners walk their canine friends in the parade.  We could start with a banner saying who we are, followed by the dogs.  On either side of the pack can be two people passing out dog treats to any dogs that may be on the sidelines.  And, of course, we'll need to have one or two people bringing up the rear and cleaning up any messes that may be left behind.  Including the entry fee, I think we could do this for under $50.00.

Another idea that also works well for these events is to have locally owned classic cars representing us.  If you or someone you know has a classic car and would be willing to participate, please contact me.
