The Big Pine and Lower Keys Rotary Club is located on Big Pine Key in Monroe County in the beautiful Florida Keys. We serve an area from Mile Marker 40 (at the south end of the 7 mile bridge)to Stock Island, just north of Key West. The Big Pine and Lower Keys Rotary Club is Part of Rotary District 6990. This District encompases Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties as well as Grand Bahama Island.

The club currently has 51 active members and meets weekly on Fridays at 12:00 noon. Visiting Rotarians and guests can find us at the United Methodist Church on Key Deer Blvd. just north of Hwy. US 1 on Big Pine Key at Mile Marker 30

What is Rotary

Rotary is an organization of business and professional persons united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

Locally we proudly sponsor local sports teams, award college scholorships, host community events such as the 4th of July fireworks, golf tournaments and Kid's Karnival. We also contribute to many community causes and charities and provide other community support activities through various Rotary programs. Through Rotary International, The Big Pine and Lower Keys Rotary Club is aligned with over 31,000 other Rotary clubs in 166 countries to further the goal of providing humanitarian assistance to help raise the standard of living and quality of life worldwide and build goodwill and understanding among peoples of the world. An excellent example is Rotary's dedication to eradicate Polio worldwide through Rotary International's PolioPlus program,
