Feeling Harassed?

Posted in: Oak Creek

Anyone else in the Oak Creek subdivision feeling harassed by the Oak Creek Home Owners Association?  Yes, I am an educated individual and completely understand what and how home owners associations are SUPPOSED TO WORK, unfortunately ours spends WAYYYYYY TOO MUCH time one issues that should be at the BOTTOM of their PRIORITY LIST.  Which do you think should be a priority: a) my neighbors truck and flatbed trailer that are always well parked and don't bother anyone OR b) the speeders that have hit my car and will one day probably hit my children as they play on our driveway and sidewalk?  The home owners ass. have come to my house about 20 times to try and get us to side with them to have our neighbor move his flatbed trailer.  We have continually told them that we actually encourage him to park them there so that my kids will have some sort of buffer from the speeding traffic.  Then they got the police involved and are now working on the City.  COME ON - the police and the city AGAIN have more important things that they should have on the top of their own priority list.  STOP THE HARASSMENT!

i live in oak creek north and my neighbor, who is on the neighborhood watch committee, has threatened me and my daughter for her friends parking alongside the curb. says people cant see someone coming around the curb IF vehicles are parked there. he has threatened ticketing me, even approached me with a little ticket book! ha! in the first place there are no "no parking" signs, and in the second place he has no jurisdiction ticket me or anybody else! in the thrid place it is rare and i do mean rare for a vehicle to be parked in said location. yes, i think these retired gentlemen need something more productive to do!
