To wishful thinking

I believe you are the one doing the wishful thinking. You wish everyone would abide by the rules, like driving 25 mph. It's not going to happen. Would you let your kid play by the home of a child molester ? Why not ? After all, he/she should obey the rules and not go after your kid. Would you let your kid play in a home where there are lots of guns ? I think not. My point is, you can't control other people's actions, just your own.
So, YOU better get ''fricking'' real !

Amazing isn't it when someone tries to make a point about irresponsible driving, and now the problem is our kids in the street. WOW! We should solve one problem at a time. Stop the speeders!

I have lived here for 7 years. Don't see a real problem with kids playing in the street. Do see a problem with a holes driving like children.

To Wishful Thinking

I also walk my dog in the street where we have no sidewalks and I am watchful of cars in the street. I don't think that is the issue here. The issue is driving into the neighborhood to find a game of street hockey in the middle of the road! And in my experience, when a car comes by, these kids give you dirty looks and don't move!
