Reminder for March 2009 assessments

Reminder, BLMC just recieved notice from New Castle County that the March 2009 assessment is scheduled to be mailed 3/27/2009.

Why another assessment in March 2009?

New Castle County has agreed to continue to handle the billing of all New Castle County maintenance corporations even though they have shut the community service unit once available to community's like ours. So in an effort to keep costs down NCC switched all billing to one date rather than various dates for each community. BLMC was to have notified NCC of a prorated assessment amount last October 2008 but mistakenly told them to bill our normal annual assessment fee.
With that said BLMC adjusted the March 2009 billing to reflect a prorated amount. Please contact BLMC officers with any questions that you may have.

March 2010 assessment-Please pay on time

The March 2010 assessment payments will be back to our normal $65.00 annual dues.

Also reminder, BLMC will be handing all non payment accounts over to a collection agency. The costs associated with the agency will be added on top of your assessment payment as well. Because these are special circumstances BLMC will send all non payments accounts to the collection agency on June 1, 2009.
