Bedford Park, A Condominium

Renovation Update 10-28-09

Posted in: Bedford Park

Permits have been applied for, supplies have been ordered!  We are very close to beginning our big overhaul. As soon as we have received the County permits to begin, we’ll publish the construction schedule and building renovation order. Current estimates have the entire project lasting 3 to 4 months, but as we all know, things – mostly weather - happen so we will need to be flexible with the understanding that work will be completed as swiftly as possible.  But when we are finished, we’ll all reap the benefits of the “new and improved” Bedford Park.  For continuing updates on project status, be sure to check the community website at: http://www.neighborhoodlink.com/Bedford_Park/home

The board will be posting updates and checking for related inquires.

Deck Unit Owners:

You all should have received a notice in the mail about deck inspections prior to the renovations.  These will be accomplished strictly from the outside but we don’t want anyone to be surprised when they see folks on ladders around the communities.

As we replace flat roofs and the decks above them, we will be using pressure treated wood for the decks. However, deck owners will have the option to pay $1000 additional for a composite material as opposed to pressure treated wood.  Deck owners choosing this option will need pay before construction begins.  All effected owners will receive a letter from CPM outlining the specifics for choosing this option.
