I have recently received a notice from a fellow neighbor that the Penn Acres Civic Assn. is trying to pass a law against home owners having their boats, campers and RVs parked on their property. This is an outrage. Is the Penn Acres Civic Assn. going to pay for storage of these vehicles and for tranportation to retrieve these vehicles at the time of need? No so I say as long as they are in state regulations, meaning they are tagged and not abandoned then the home owner, key words, ''HOME OWNER'' meaning the person owning the property and everything on it, has the right to say what type of vehicle, camper, rv, or boat is on their property. If we let other tell us what we can own on our property we might as well ask permission of what color interior paints, carpeting, and furniture we can have. LIVE AND LET LIVE. As long as your neighbor is not directly affecting your life you should not try to run theirs. We all have moved into or stayed in this neighborhood for a reason and that is because it is a nice neighborhood. It always has been. I have lived here for 25+ years and this has never been an issue. I have noticed that the long lived residents of the neighborhood are not the ones complaining of these vehicles. So to all those who are new to the neighborhood, LIVE AND LET LIVE, because the next law that gets passed could play are direct part into your life and your finances.
