Battlemont Neighborhood Association

I love our neighborhood, but I think we need to get sidewalks.  How do we look into ensuring that such plans are investigated in relation to the current Metro area sidewalk expansion and renovation project?

I feel the same way. I've researched this. We are not on the list for sidewalks. Traffic calming is not going to happen in a serious way. So despite well documented problems slowing traffic is not a solution. The problem is that our neighborhood resident coordinator is not an advocate for the neighborhood.  Her main interest is in developing the commercial area. Also she leaves on Echo Hill. Effective traffic calming on the main cut through will probably divert traffic down Echo Hill.
