Balmoral Neighborhood Association

Homes in the Balmoral neighborhood have some of the most distinctive, individual architecture in an era of cookie-cutter designs. Homebuilders in the area managed to give each home a twist of individuality even though some models featured similar designs from Georgian to Colonial to contemporary. It's so unfortunate that Balmoral is being encroached upon by the stigma of Hickory Hill. These distinctive homes and this comfortable neighborhood we live in is truly worth maintaining. But as it stands we're just another Whitehaven waiting to happen. I'd give it 10 - 12 years unless something is done to stop the city's overall decline. Meanwhile, enjoy our little distinctive neighborhood while we can.

Architecture

Is someone changing the architecture of homes in our neighborhood? I would welcome any type of renovations, since they indicate that people are investing in their homes. Alas, I haven't noticed much renovation going on in my neighborhood. What can we as individuals do to prevent Balmoral from sinking into another Hickory Hill?
