The City of Austin is having another rain barrel sale on 01/18. I got one last year and use the rainwater I collect to water flowers.

No problem
The rain barrel I have comes with a screen top so mosquitos can't get in to lay eggs. Jeannie found on the web that most organic mosquito repellants use garlic. I threw a garlic clove into the barrel. I haven't seen any problem with it. |
