We are looking for parents of small children in the neighborhood with whom we can trade babysitting. Our little Willa is just over a year old (born December 2007).

We've never participated in an arrangement like this, but if we each watch each other's kid two weekend nights per month, that gives us some time to go out to dinner and/or a movies, or just out shopping or out for a walk.

Anybody have any experience with something like this?

Hi - I'm not sure if you are in Ashburn or not? I am very interested in a babysitting co-op. I've not done one before but would love to be able to get out more! I know your post is 8 months old - but I just came across it. :) Would you still be interested?

I live in Vienna with a girl born Jan 06.  I am interested in helping put this together.

I have a 10 weeks old.  It would be nice to have a movie date or something.  I'm in Herndon.  I'm interested in setting this up as well. :) (If it's not already)
