I just discovered that I have been breathing Carbon Monoxide in my home despite the existence of a "high end" carbon monoxide detector. Apparently the detector will not alarm with the existence of 30ppm or less of Carbon Monoxide. Apparently there is an acceptable level of Carbon Monoxide in the home! I am uneasy about the fact I am breathing CO though  I believe I am not breathing CO unless the Detector alarms. Apparently, gas stoves can routinely give off 15ppm and the detector will never let you know it. Here is the detector alarm criteria of a detector I have in my home. Its hard to believe you could be breaking a steady flow of CO less than 70ppm and the detector never give off a warning....I wonder how this affects the healf of my family.

In accordance with UL 2034, the CO sensor will not alarm to levels
of CO below 30 ppm and will alarm in the following time range when
exposed to the corresponding levels of CO.

70 ppm CO concentration 60 – 240 minutes
150 ppm CO concentration 10 – 50 minutes
400 ppm CO concentration 4 – 15 minutes
