Thanks to those of you who contacted me this past month to put articles in the newsletter. It was nice to have input from other residents to share with the neighborhood. This newsletter is a way for you to share information with your neighbors. Things that interest you would probably be of interest to many of your neighbors. Another way we can share information is through our neighborhood website which is www.neighborhoodlink.com/kennesaw/ardenlake. This is a generic neighborhood site that we personalize for Arden Lake. It contains a lot of information about Arden Lake, but could have a great deal more with your help. There are some pages that residents can input themselves such as "Meet Your Neighbors", where your family can set up a home page with a photo for free. Wouldn't it be great if every Arden Lake family put something in about themselves? There is also a "Talk about it" page where you can discuss issues with your Arden Lake neighbors and a "Community Calendar" page which is a bulletin board where you can post upcoming events, for example, a garage sale you are planning. I can also add pages about neighborhood events or whatever and add a photo to the page. These would go into the "add-a-page" section and would have to be entered by me, the website coordinator. You can email the info to me and I can add it to the site. As you can see, there are now many ways to communicate with your neighbors and make Arden Lake an even better, friendlier place to live! You can email any suggestions or articles to me directly at ardenlakescoop@gmail.com. All I ask it that you send the article you want in the newsletter or website exactly as you want it to read. If I have to change it in any way, I will contact you before I print it. I look forward to hearing from all of you soon!!
