Does anyone have any ideas on getting rid of poison ivy? From what I understand the only way to kill the vines are to uproot them entirely, but that leaves me miserable for weeks! If anyone has a trick to getting rid of it in the yard or helping once I'm covered in it I would love to hear from you!

It took two years of repeated applications of Roundup to beat the stuff back to the tree line in our yard.  And then last year it came back anyway.  So I don't know.  I bet if I called Georgia Co-operative Extension Services, they could give us an answer.

I'm going to try full arm length gloves & just rip it up. Looks like they sell them at Tractor Supply Co. Wish me luck!!
