Alpine Highlands POA Board Minutes 08/05/2008

Sep 01, 2008

Minutes of the meeting held on June 4th, 2008 were read and approved.

OLD BUSINESS:
Martin will continue to be our liaison with regard to the possibility of a small ?“pocket park?” behind Albertson?’s. He maintains contact with Brad Bailey (APG) and will keep us informed.

Sharon provided a copy of a typical Highland POA Deed of Trust with documentation stating ?“No parking in the easements.?”
Parcel 1 = Property Owners parcel
Parcel 2= ?“Easement for road purposes to be used in common with others over those certain strips of land designated ?“easement reserved for road?” as shown on said record of survey No. 4491. Excepting those portions lying within parcel 1 above.
Ron will contact a title company to obtain a copy of such document. Martin and Ron will then meet with local towing companies (that were previously contacted). The board unanimously agreed that we ask the local towing companies to review and advice if this constitutes a legal ability to tow a violating vehicle after sufficient notice has been given.
Such companies are willing to post signs, furnish notices and tow when required and contacted by our Highland POA liaison. Martin and Ron will advise the board on the outcome and call an additional meeting, if need be, before our scheduled October meeting.

NEW BUSINESS:
Sharon has requested a letter from the board giving approval for her to work, on our behalf, with the county on review of a possible sewer system. Motion was made by Pat Cannon and seconded by Ron. Pat Cannon announced her candidacy for the Padre Dam Water District Board. We need an Alpine voice. Please consider her for your vote! She can be reached at: pcannon@cox.net.

Debi will provide copies of letters that were sent in prior years to property owners with illegally parked vehicles. She will also forward an email copy of the Bylaws and Declarations of Restrictions to each board member, for review.

Next meeting will be the middle of October on a Tuesday or Wednesday, at Sharon Haven?’s home. Further information will be announced prior to the first week in October. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Debi Ulsund, Secretary
