I believe in the last newsletter, there was something mentioned about garbage cans and how everyone should have one with a lid. Obviously, noone is taking that to heart because on my street only about 3 of the 10 people have garbage cans. Everyone else's garbage is blowing around and littering out streets.

If there are going to be ''requirements'', shouldn't they be enforced? It really would be nice if they are enforced. Either people buy garbage cans (they aren't expensive at ALL) or they should have their garbage secured tightly, so that it doesn't blow about. I think that's reasonable.

Maybe that is not the issue because I have brought 3 garbage cans with lids from Lowes and painted my house number on them and mysteriously all three are gone so now I'm wondering how I get reimbursed or does the township supply us with the cans because we do pay a monthly trash fee
