Health Educator Position

A.F.C.S seeks a full-time health educator to join a team of health educators and adolescent peer educators in providing health education in pregnancy prevention, abstinence education to adolescents who are in the programs neighboring schools and the various community settings.

Job Responsibilities

Recruit adolescent peer educators
Plan, implement, and evaluate interactive workshops at schools, community agencies
Develop age appropriate curriculum and evaluation tools
Coordinate Community Health Activities
Identify and recruit participants within the program's target population who need linkage to services.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree
2-3years Experience working with adolescents
Experience in facilitating group workshops
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Bilingual(Spanish/English) is preferred
Knowledge of Pregnancy prevention, Health Educaion related issues
