I think we should create the city of Centennial because it seemed like a really cool place in James Mitchner's book.

HB1099 & Freda Poundstone

Doesn't anyone else see the irony in Freda Poundstone opposing HB1099, when she was the author of the original amendment to stop Denver from annexing all of God's creation? She has no right to campaign against Centennial.

James Michener

James Michener was one of the finest 20th Century American novelists. His accomplishments helped put Colorado and its beauty in the national spotlight. If nothing else, Centennial should be created in his memory.

Why are you surprised? Queen Freda really only championed the amendment in the first place in order to protect her precious Greenwood Village from being absorbed by Denver -- and now she's working once again toward the same goal!
