FOURTH AVENUE NEIGHBORHOOD PRESERVATION

STOP OVERDEVELOPMENT ON FOURTH AVENUE

URGENT NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING!
7:30 p.m., Tuesday November 14, 2006
St. Thomas Aquinas Church Basement
4th Avenue & 9th Street (enter on 4th Avenue through side door)

The Issues

Monster 12-story buildings are invading our hospitable low-rise community. Two are going up right now at First and Fourth Streets. Two more are planned at 7th Street and 12th Street. And recently a developer has been attempting to buy up a group of homes, adjacent to the corner of 11th Street, in order to raze them and build another 12-story high rise. Let us get together and let our elected officials know that we want to curtail out-of-context development on 4th Avenue before it becomes a canyon of high-rise buildings. Come to this important meeting to obtain more information and tell our elected officials you want to keep 4th Avenue low-rise!
