Things to do to protect against burglaries

There have been some burglaries in our community

1. Please be sure to lock windows and doors.
2. Leave lights on and a radio on even if you are not home.
3. Use timers throughout the house that have various time changes.
4. Leave lights on outside the house.
5. Do not open the door to strangers
6. Call 911 if you see suspicious activity on your block
7. The crime prevention officer of the 112th Precinct is available for a confidential survey to suggest ways to improve the security of your house. Call 520-9319 for an appointment.
