How to get a copy of an Aided or Complaint Report

HOW TO GET A COPY OF AN AIDED OR COMPLAINT REPORT

· You must complete the Verification of Crime/Lost Property Form. The form is available at the Precinct.

· Check or money order for $15.00 payable to N.Y.C. Police Department. Crime victims are not charged for a copy of their report.

· Enclose a stamped, self-addressed 9 1/2" x 4" envelope. Copies of these reports are not available at the precinct. They must be requested through the mail.

· Mail all requests to Police Department, Criminal Records Section, P.O. box 2528, New York, 10272-2528.

· NOTE: No refunds of the search and service fee will be made in any case.
