Lyle and Suzette von Riesen

This picture was taken when Lyle and Suzette were celebrating their 50th anniversary of marriage. Lyle was born and raised in Kansas. He obtained the degree Docotor of Philosophy in Bacteriology at the University of Kansas in 1955. He taught bacteriology at the University of Kansas Medical Center for four years and at the University of Nebraska Medical Center for 24 years. Suzette was born in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. She and Lyle were married in her home town of Esch/Alzette, Luxembourg. She came to the US in March of 1945. Suzette is quadralingual, meaning that she can speak four languages: English, German, French, and Luxembourgish. The von Riesens have lived at #6 since March 30, 1985.
