Hi Neighbors
Nancy pointed out that I needed to update my pagwe. Well, I have lived in Merry Oaks since February of 2003. What a great place to live.
Professionally, I am a Financial Consultant with AXA Advisors in the Ballantyne office. Not a fan of the drive to work, but I love what I do. I work with families and small businesses on retirement planning and retirement income strategies, life insurance, college funding, and variouss types of benefits.
Where you might find me
Outside of work, I am on the MONA Board. I serve on the Mecklenburg County Soil and Water Conservation Board. Ask me about the Urban Cost Share Program!
Oh, and I should mention one of my favorite activities. I am the host of the Charlotte chapter of Drinking Liberally. The idea of DL is that we are changing democracy one pint at a time. With over 200 chapters around the country, DL is the social arm of the progressive movement!
My other activites
My other activites include being a board member for the Young Affiliates of the Mint Museum, the Alumni Council of the United Way's Leading the Way Program, and I also serve on the United Way's Financial Stability Council, and their Speaker's Bureau.
