I am now in the first stage of a controlled carbohydrate diet. My doctor recommended the diet and I am pretty happy with it so far. I have lost 6 pounds in the first week.
I am now taking the drug Wellbutrin. This drug blocks nicotine cravings. I will quit smoking all together once this drug takes full effect and remain on it for two weeks after I quite to supress the cravings until my body is no longer craving the nicotine.
I will begin exercising soon. My doctor says that I will lose weight on the controlled carb diet without exercise and once I have lost some weight I can add exercise after I have lost enough weight to do so comfortably.
