A little bit about us

Our names are Mike Phipps & Eddie Sakerka. We both moved to Texas from Pennsylvania, Eddie in 1981 and I came in 1982. We went to high school together. Eddie was two years behind me. After moving to Texas we lived in Arlington for a few years. We moved to Plano for a year, then moved to F.W. for a few years, then back to Arlington. We lived there for about 12 years and then finally moved back to F.W. and resided on Historical Kenwood Ct. for 4.5 years. In November of 2003 we purchased our home on Normandy Rd. where we currently reside today.

Getting Involved

Eddie and I have always tried to be involved in the neighborhoods in which we have lived in. You don't have to be a home owner to be involved in the growth of your neighborhood. It is great when you see a neighborhood that is involved. If you see negative things going on around your neighborhood come to a West Meadowbrook Neighborhood Association meeting. You can meet your N.P.O., ''Neighborhood Police Officer'', and your N.C.O., ''Neighborhood Code Officer'', and also meet new neighbors and make new friends. Find out how to handle situations. Get Informed! If you don't keep your neighborhood clean and crime free, the value of your home will greatly depreciate. None of us want to see that happen. We must stick together. Stay Informed! and involved!

''Our Fur Kids''

We have had several pets over the years. Right now, we have two dogs, Max and Ruby, and two cats Kitzl and Bob.  Kitzl doesn't understand why she isn't an only child, then there's Bob.... well, Bob's just Bob he thinks he's human!  We love them all, they all are just priceless to us!

Eddie and I started doing in home pet sitting some time back for our friends and neighbors. We know how stressful boarding a pet can be for both the pet and the parent. We call ourselves ''Pet's Best Friend'' We stop by while you are out for the day or maybe the week and visit, walk, feed whatever your wishes may be.
