Vixen

I adopted my Cairn Terrier, Vixen in 2000 as a four-year-old dog from breeder Diane Tigue of Wichita, KS. Her sire is Ch. Red Lion of Wolfpit and her dam is Ch. Brocsbain's Dark Victory. While with her breeder, she gave birth to two litters of puppies. As you can see, Vixen is a very beautiful, well-bred dog and I am so fortunate that Diane chose me to love and care for her.

Her Accomplishments

Since coming to live with me, Vixen has enriched my life greatly. She is such a friendly, people-oriented dog that I enrolled her in a therapy dog class through the Oklahoma City Obedience Training Club. She has passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test with therapy dog modifications. Vixen is a very energetic dog and knows many tricks. She has entertained senior citizens at a retirement home in Oklahoma City, and children at an elementary school and library in Lawton and the summer Muscular Dystrophy camp in Guthrie. She goes along with me to public education activities for Paws with a Cause service dog organization.

Viven also participates in obedience training classes with the Oklahoma City Obedience Training Club. In the spring of 2005, she earned her AKC Companion Dog title. She is currently training in Open and Rally obedience classes.
