A Little about Us

Jack and I moved in to our new home in February 2004. We got married on July 17th, 2004 in Kindleberger Park in Parchment. The reception was held at my sister's house here in the neighborhood.

I do PartyLite home shows as a part-time job/hobby. I really enjoy doing it and would love to introduce you to the joy of PartyLite. Earning free candles and accessories doesn't hurt either. Feel free to call me or stop by and I can give you a catalog to browse or you could host a show. My full-time job is at Bronson hospital where I work as a staff and system support coordinator. I think that's a glorified way of saying I do clerical and I am a system administrator.

I am also the person who organizes most of the events for the neighborhood. I am the one that is always e-mailing or leaving fliers.

I love to meet new people so feel free to stop and chat if I'm out in the yard or around the neighborhood. Something that I love to do is socialize and have cookouts and get togethers. Something I would love to see happen is a neighborhood block party. That would be a blast. We had one in October for Halloween and it was a lot of fun, but cold. I hope we can get together and do one this summer.

Jack works for Consumer's Energy as a journeyman lineworker but is currently off work because of a neurological disorder. He became ill in November 2005 with what's called Transverse Myelitis. It is a neuroimmunological disorder that destroys the myelin that protects your nerves. He has improved greatly since November but still has a long road to travel. He is getting bored being home all the time but other than that he is doing well. Stop by and say hi if you ever get a chance. He loves company.

Jack's kids

Jack has 4 children ages 23, 21, 18 and 14. Their names are Bill, Josh, Holly and Nathan. The neighbors that know us have met the two youngest. Holly moved in with us June 2005. She graduated from Plainwell High School in 2006 and is attending KVCC fulltime and working fulltime.

Brandi's child

I have a little girl named Sierra. She will be turning 8 in October. She started 2nd grade this year and she absolutely loves it. She loves to play with other kids in the neighborhood but she is still learning the rules. If there is ever any doubt about where she should be please feel free to call me (385-8794). She loves to ride her bike and scooter so please be careful and watch for her and all the other children that play throughout this neighborhood. If I think you are going too fast through the neighborhood don't be surprised if I yell at you to slow down or stop by with a friendly reminder.
