Cathy Baumbusch is the First Vice President of the West Springfield Civic Association and has been since 2005. Cathy is a real estate professional licensed in Virginia and the District. She is a vocalist with the choral group Choralis, and is a Major in the US Army Reserve. She holds a degree in Marketing from St. Mary's University (Texas) and an MBA from Wright State University (Ohio).

With her husband, she has been a resident of the neighborhood since 1998. She loves animals, and has two cats, Calvin and Hobbes, and one dog, Natasha.
