Johnston County native originally from Clayton, NC.  U.S. Air Force veteran and recently retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after 25+ years as an air traffic controller. I served at the Fayetteville, NC air traffic control tower, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands control tower, Daytona Beach, FL control tower, Raleigh-Durham, NC control tower and lastly at the FAA Air Traffic Control System Command Center in Warrenton, VA.
