Mission Statement Midtown Parents & Kids is a volunteer organization which supports family living in the Short North neighborhoods of Columbus, Ohio, by offering a variety of ways to meet one another, play and share information. Playgroups New parents in the Short North neighborhoods often like they're alone, since there aren't kids and swingsets in every yard like one finds in the suburbs. Our playgroups help neighborhood parents & kids find each other and form lasting friendships. We currently have several active playgroups. Some meet in the daytime; others in the evening. The playgroups are roughly segregated into a preschool group, a toddler group, and an infant group. The kids ages range from 5 years to a few weeks.
