Zoning Change???

Rick Williams has made the city aware of the problem, and he's staying very current on this issue, but, as he said, it's hard to find a company that's willing to expand right now with the current economy. The Minyard's building is too large for most companies.

Speaking of available retail space, you know that narrow strip of land on Arapaho between Galaxy and Callejo? Is that zoned for retail?  It sure would be a great place for a city park.

"I recall that area was approved as a planned development for town homes or zero lot line homes many years ago, but the developer never followed through.  Basically, it is privately owned, and the City has zero money to purchase park land."
