From the Welcome Committee to all neighborhood residents: please inform the board when people move out, and new people move in. Board members may not always be aware when changes in the neighborhood occur. This knowledge allows all to be informed, and the Welcome Committee to act responsibly.
All Association Members should be aware that the State of South Carolina
"Restrictive Covenants" apply to our Woodington neighborhood. As a matter of
fact, the "Covenants" are the controlling document, as they override, and supersede,
our "By-Laws" in any case where a conflict may be realized.
All members are reminded per the "Covenants", that "No Signs" (other than "House For Sale") are allowed. This means no signs: political, commercial nor advertising, business, personal, nor any other, may be posted on your lot, nor on Woodington common property. An amendment to our "By-Laws" is a work in process at this time. However, if you'd like to post any sign, please contact the Board for approval, before you consider posting your sign(s). Everyone with any sign posted, please remove it at this time, and approach the Board for approval to post.
Should you be interested, various proposed "By-Laws" amendments are being discussed by the Board - particularly "minimum requirements" for "back yard sheds". Please ask for details, if you want to be informed about this item, or with regard to other amendments being discussed by the Board.
Will you help your Board communicate with you more easily? All persons with
e-mail, please provide your e-mail address to the Board (and be sure to "un-block"
your e-mail).
