Nov 11, 2001

The association and Windsong residents and neighboring communities met together at Silvermount Baptist Church, to discuss the blasting at Vulcan Materials. Invited panel was Patrick Cannon City Councilman, Harold Cogdell Now District 3 Representative, Troy Watson Candidate and Michael Kohen Mechanical Engineer. We discussed damage to our houses and ways of gaining restitution and possibly closing them down. We heard positive information from our panel and ways of approaching the problem. Some of the neighbors were able to voice their concerns. We agreed to meet with the board and discuss what has been said and our next step. The participants will be notified and pictures will be taken and information gathered on the damage to their houses. We are going forth we have waited and complained long enough . We are inviting our neighbors from Ramblewood, Colony Acres, Foxboro to join us. Remember there is power in numbers.
