Attention Neighborhood Watchers!
2 Attempted car thefts were prevented this morning (March 23, 2008) around 5:00AM by a very watchful Neighborhood Watch Neighbor!
2 Men broke out the window of an Acura car in the building 24/24/26/27 parking lot after having probably attempted to break into a convertible car in the building 28/29/30 parking lot.? The thieves used a knife to cut the convertible top then for some reason moved across the street to break into the Acura.? The Neighborhood Watch Neighbor called the police when they heard suspicious sounds coming from the parking lot around 5:00am - the police quickly responded and arrested the 2 suspects while they were IN THE ACURA attempting to hot wire the car.
If anyone else had a car break in let the police know ASAP.? It is thought that the same two people are responsible for both reported car break ins this morning.
If you see or hear anything SUSPICIOUS call 911 immediately and let the police figure it out!
