A message from The Board

Dear Willow Deer Homeowners,

A lot has happened since our annual meeting in October of 2014.

 During  that meeting, a new President (Jack Shirey), Vice President (Randy Handwork), Treasurer (John Saponaro) and Secretary (Adrian Gonzalles-Gallo) were  elected to the Board.

 We learned that most homeowners don’t know who to contact regarding covenants, dues, architectural questions, or many other issues/questions.  Since taking office, the Board has met several times and things are starting to happen around the neighborhood!

First, new LED lights have been installed at the entrance to the neighborhood. The old system had water damage and needed to be replaced. The new lights are mounted on landscape stakes about 6 inches above ground. This will prevent the conduit from rusting out again. The electrician (one of our own homeowners) generously donated a GFCI, new receptacle and photo cell. The lights come with a 15 year warranty.

Next, we are currently in the process of reviewing our financials. It was brought to our attention that there’s over $6000.00 in outstanding dues and associated fees. We are taking actions to reconcile this debt.

Please remember that it is very important to pay your annual HOA dues. The dues are needed to pay for water, electric insurance, and other bills, such as repairs and maintenance costs to common areas. Also, even though all costs of collection are billed to the owner, the HOA has to pay the costs up front and then get reimbursed if/when the homeowner makes payment.
