CDBG Funds for Willo?

Does Willo need improvements for parks, playgrounds, streets, or streetscaping and physical modifications related to traffic mitigation? Is our neighborhood association located in a low- or moderate-income area of the city? If so, Willo may be eligible for the city's Neighborhood Enhancement Program.

The program funds small, one-time grants for projects that will physically improve the neighborhood. In order for our area to be considered, our neighborhood association must contact and partner with the appropriate city department. If our proposal fits in with the area plans and city resources, the department may help sponsor a project.

Non-profit agencies, in partnership with a neighborhood organization and a city department, may also apply provided the project will always be open to the public. For more information, call 602-495-0846.
