Community Yard Sale
Thanks to all those who participated in our 3rd Annual Community Yard Sale. From everyone that I spoke to at the Ice Cream Social it seemed to be successful. My kids made some pretty good money! I was glad to see neighbors coming out to get ice cream. Our turnout seemed to be a little less than in years past but it was nice to see people enjoying themselves and mingling.

Fall Fun Day
The Board is currently in the planning stages for a community fun day this fall. We are looking for anyone in the neighborhood who would like to volunteer time or services for a few hours to help put the ?“fun?” in our day! If you have a business or know someone who would like to help out please contact CAM or someone from the Board.

Safety
Please remember to keep an eye out for your neighbors. There have been a lot of break-ins in the community over the past few weeks. There have been doors kicked in and property stolen or vandalized. Some of this has been happening in the middle of the day! Please call 911 if you see anyone suspicious.


Dog Owners
We are still having some problems with dog owners picking up after their pets. This has been a problem for a long time especially around the pond area. Please remember that our neighborhood belongs to all of us and we should have a common courtesy for our neighbors and respect for our surroundings. It can be very difficult to take a leisurely stroll around the pond or to let the kids play on the common areas. There have been suggestions to add a post with plastic bags for dog owners to use but this cost would have to be added to the budget for next year. I am sure that our neighbors who don?’t own dogs would appreciate not having to pay for such a thing that can be fixed with just a plastic grocery store bag and a moment of your time. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Landscaping
There have been a lot of problems with our landscaper Carolina Turf this year. The Board is aware of all of these issues and is in the processes of hiring a new service. Please be patient while we transition our services within this next month.

Fences
Just a reminder-Remember to send in an Application for Exterior Modification form to CAM if you want to put up a fence or make any other changes to the outside of your home. The architectural committee will review it and you will be sent a letter to confirm your request. If you have not sent in a request you may do so now but please remember that in accordance with our CCR?’s you may be expected to make changes.
