Did you miss the Westown Meeting on Feb. 5th? The hot topic was the problems that have been occuring at Westown Park and graffiti on the rise throughout the neighborhood. Suggestions and decisions made included:
*If you live around the park, place a spot light in your yard to help light up the dark spots of the park
*A petition is being started to get more attention from the city. If you would be interested in stepping up to get signatures on the petition please contact the Westown hotline at 234-6161
*Several neighbors signed up to make drives around the park at night, please take part in this by just taking a drive around the park with your headlights on.
*Any graffiti that you see in the neighborhood, write down the address and call the graffiti busters hotline at 495-7014 to have it removed ASAP
*Call the police for ANY suspicious activity, even if your neighbor is already calling. Every call placed regarding nieghborhood issues is logged. The more voices heard regarding the issues, the quicker the response.
