The Westown Park is getting a facelift thanks to a Bond Election a couple years ago and are we lucky. There is a beautiful playground being put in and is sure to please kids of all ages.
There have been problems in the past with vandals, teenagers smoking cigarettes and dope,and engaging in damaging behavior at our park. We as residents need to start using the park and enjoying the new facilities.
If you are at or near the park and notice any vandalism of any kind taking place please call crime stop at 602-262-6151 and make a difference.
Plan a picnic or a family gettogether and use the park. The more responsible residents are in the park the less of a chance there is of abuse to the new equipment.
