What is PATS?

PATS is a very active, non-profit Parent/Teacher Organization. PATS is a financial support for our children. We often hold fundraisers to help pay for items that may not otherwise get financial support. "Like what?" you may ask. In years past, PATS has assisted with playground equipment and improvements , teacher's requests for materials and programs to support their teaching, field day, hearing and vision screening, and many more. Many of these items help enrich our children's education and could not have been done without PATS and YOUR support. We would like to thank all of you for your time and support. The public education system would not be the same without the precious donation of time from parents and community members.

It is the children that benefit from your caring.

Get Involved

We are losing some of our most dedicated and wonderful volunteers this year. There is always a need for volunteers. We (more than anyone) understand the demands on your time and appreciate any service that you can help with. There are so many opportunities to serve at Sahuaro. We need helpers with classrooms, field trips, phone calls, committees and much more. Sahuaro has always been proud of the volunteers that we have, a little of your time helps to spread the load for all. You can always talk to your child's teacher about how to get involved, or call the school and they will put you in contact with a PATS Board Member.

As little as a half hour..

I don't have time you may say. Yes we are all so busy these days. Many of our volunteer opportunities can be done from your home and can take as little as a half hour. Studies have shown that parents that are involved in the childs education benefit greatly from it.
